Peer Review Process

Key aspects of the Peer Review Process:

1. Manuscripts submitted to journals undergo initial screening by the editorial team.
2. Peer review type: Reviewers are unaware of the authors' identities, and authors are unaware of the reviewers' identities (blind review).
3. Manuscripts that pass screening are sent to two peer reviewers for evaluation.
4. Peer reviewers independently advise the journal editor on whether the manuscript should be accepted or rejected (with or without revisions).
5. The journal editor considers all feedback from the peer reviewers to make a decision on acceptance or rejection.
